Cavale au crépuscule It all began one evening in Montegrosso, Corsica, when the sky blazed with orange and gold beneath vast masses of dark clouds.
I captured the contrasts, the intensity, and that almost unreal light. In the studio, the orange, yellow, purple, and charcoal-gray fabrics layered, crisscrossed, and spilled out in every direction, eventually creating their own landscape.
A vibrant, dynamic textile work, like a flurry of colors just before the light fades.
